public class Mathpunct
extends AbstractMathCode

This class provides an implementation for the primitive \mathpunct.

The Math Primitive \mathpunct

The primitive \mathpunc takes an argument and treats it as a punctation symbol. It works in math mode only. The argument can either be a single letter of a math expression enclosed in braces.

Syntax

The formal description of this primitive is the following:

    ⟨mathpunct⟩
       → \mathpunct ⟨formula⟩

    ⟨formula⟩
       →  ⟨letter⟩
         |  { ⟨math material⟩ }

token - the initial token for the primitive

execute

             throws HelpingException,
                    ConfigurationException,
                    TypesetterException

This method takes the first token and executes it. The result is placed on the stack. This operation might have side effects. To execute a token it might be necessary to consume further tokens.
